Last weekend our local fire station right next to our house had an ice cream social. The kids got to climb around the fire truck, a tour of the fire house (with two actual fire poles!), and of course eat some awesome ice cream!
Today, I took Ty to the Museum of Transportation. It’s mostly a lot of trains, but there were several very old cars and this vintage fire truck. How cool is that!?
Riding the miniature train.
Creation Station. This was cool, you signed up for a time and got to go in the separate room that probably had 8 different train tables where you could build your own train track and play with it. There was also a play kitchen, post office, school bus (with slide included) and a fall craft.
cleaning up…
do I have mail mama?
trains trains trains…. outside there were rows and rows of old trains you could walk through and look at. Some of them you could climb up and walk around in. It was really neat to see all the different styles and ages of trains. On the right below, I got Ty to stand next to the wheel of a really big train that he got to ring the bell in.
I told him we can bring daddy back with us next time, so when he skyped with Jeremy earlier this evening he was already asking him when he could go again.
