WANTED! Click image to enlarge and help us find the flamingo killers!

Christmas in Houston, MO

This past weekend we travelled to Houston, MO to celebrate Christmas with my cousins and grandparents. We had a lot of fun and there was alot of laughs.
This year we had a white elephant gift exchange. It was hilarious. My Aunt Nancy tricked Jeremy into picking her present only to find that it was the ugliest pair of lime green heels with a flower on top.I got a brick......which Jeremy's going to make into a Bricandle. (a brick-candle). He's working on the patent now. :)
My great grandma got a stocking cap and had to model it for everyone. She's styling now.

Me and my pops.
Mom, Ted and me.
Grandpa Herndon playing us a song he wrote for his high school reunion. It was very good!
Grandma Herndon and me.

Myla's One!

This actually happened last weekend, her birthday is 12-12. Our small group leader's daughter, Myla is already one! The year just flew by. Just wanted to post some of the good pictures I got. Happy Birthday Myla!

Ice Skating and the Opera Singing Santa

Yesterday we had a great time! Some of our good friends, the Sherinski's and Wilson's came to Forest Park with us to go ice skating and then to dinner at Bevo Mill. We had a lot of fun. Jeremy was by far the best skater, but no one got hurt.......well, I think we are all hurting today, but nobody broke any bones so I call that a good trip! :)
We got to ride in the manvan and watch mommy and me with Lauren. Travis made a good call bringing the stroller and baby, Lauren was just running up and down the sidewalk pushing her baby. After we were worn out we went to eat at Bevo Mill, great place by the way! We got lucky because Santa was visiting that night...and not only did he have candy, he was also an opera singer. Lauren loved him instantly and just followed him around the restaurant clapping as fast as she could when he was done singing Christmas songs. It was a great night with great friends!

I can't wait to go ice skating again when Karissa gets back in February!

Holidays

The holidays are so busy, we have stuff planned every weekend until the new year. This weekend, Jeremy is playing in the band Saturday and Sunday. Heath and Katie's baby girl Myla turns one so we are celebrating with her Saturday afternoon and our friend Heather turns 24 on Sunday, but we are celebrating Saturday night with a night on the town. Then on Sunday we're hoping to go ice skating in Forest Park and eat dinner with some friends at Bevo Mill.

Next weekend we head to Houston again to celebrate Christmas.....which reminds me, I need to find a couple good white elephant gifts. :)

After that we are going to Florida to celebrate Christmas with the Gaithers, but we aren't sure on all the dates yet. Once we get back, we're headed to Columbia for Christmas with my family then back to STL for a New Year's party at the Sherinski's! Should be lots of fun and who knows when I'll have time to post more pictures on here. I'll try to keep up to date as best I can. Love you all and can't wait to see ya (except you Fancy, I'm sad we won't be spending new year's together. we will have to get together after your cruise!)

Thanksgiving

Wow, it's been a long time since I updated this. Well, we just celebrated Thanksgiving so lots of pictures from that. We went to Springfield for a couple days to see Jeremy's family. His sister Lynn and her family came up from Florida and we got to meet our new nephew Keagen. What a cutie! Such a happy baby, we probably took 1000 pictures of just him with our new camera (which is our Christmas present to us, we finally bought a digital SLR and love it!)
Me and Brent pouring over the black friday ads. I found just what I wanted. :) This picture was just too funny not to post!
While in Springfield my cousins came over to chat with Karissa in Africa with the webcam. It was great to see her and I can't wait until she comes back in February.Toby loves traveling to Grandma Gaither's house. This time he got a little too many treats and got sick for a couple days. In Grandma's defense, if he didn't look so darn cute, he wouldn't get so many treats. I'm sure he had just as much Thanksgiving dinner as I did!

This is a shot of our 4 year old nephew Caedman. Great action shot - have to give credit to Jeremy for this one. :)
Saturday morning we traveled to Houston, MO to visit with my grandparents and watch the MU game. (don't want to talk about the later). Anyways, first stop was Ted's house. We always have a good time chatting and singing songs while Ted plays.

Then we picked up my great grandma and grandma to take them out to lunch and watch the football game. It was nice to get them out and around town. Final stop was the Herndon's for grandma's famous mac -n- cheese. I have finally mastered the recipe I think, but I still love it when she fixes it for me.
It was a great visit and we enjoyed seeing everyone. For Christmas the James side of the family is doing a white elephant exchange, should be interesting, look forward to pictures from that. :)
