Tyler and I arrived in Henderson about a week ago. We’ve had a very busy couple of months. I think this last week was the first time we were in the same place for that long. During the month of July, we traveled to Springfield for my cousin’s wedding, back home for a week, then to Columbia for Karissa’s bridal shower/bachelorette party, back to St. Louis for a couple days and then we headed to Springfield for a week to visit Jeremy’s parents and play with Tyler’s cousins. Then it was back to St. Louis for 4 days, picked up Karissa, Morgan and Tyler (Morgan’s brother) from the airport and we were off to Columbia. Karissa and Morgan got married a week later and we all headed back to St. Louis to pack the rest of our stuff for the big drive to Nevada. 2 days later I headed back to Columbia to pick up my mom and dad – as they so graciously volunteered to take the trip with us.
Sigh!
4 long driving days later, with a couple detours to Estes Park and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon we arrived at our new home. I’ve been unpacking and shopping for all the little things you need in a new place. I have lists all over the place and hope to feel a little bit more organized next week. Tyler has been to the pool everyday and is getting braver swimming with his water wings.

Buffalo! We saw this on the way in and out of the park. This shot was when we were leaving and they were much closer to the highway. Tyler was asleep 5 minutes after we got in the car, so he missed the buffalo this close, but he did see them the first time we drove by.
