Baby Gaither has a crib!
We finally found a crib last weekend at a local store called Treasure Rooms. Jeremy's picking it up from the warehouse tomorrow after work. I'm so excited that we finally made this big decision and can't wait to see it all set up in the nursery! Here's a picture we found online. Now we just have to try and find some stain to match it for the dresser/changing table J's building. :)

Bow Fishing
"Shooting fish with a bow, pretty self explanatory." Jeremy says.
A couple weeks ago Jeremy went bow fishing with some friends from work on the Meremac River about an hour south of St. Louis. They caught alot of huge ugly fish and Jeremy fell overboard. You'll have to ask him for more details. Here are some fun pictures.

Growing Belly
Updates
Topsy Turvy Tomato Tree
Working like a charm! Once we figured out how to keep it watered enough, it's growing tomatoes like crazy. We've already had a couple cherry tomatoes and we're going to have tons of romas! We're also growing jalapenos and green bell peppers, which are also doing very well and almost ready to pick.

Blackberries
Finally, after two years of nothing, we are finally going to have tons of blackberries this year. We have tons of greens ones and several red ones, so it should be long until they are ready to pick. I'm looking forward to blackberry jam and Jeremy can't wait for his favorite - blackberry pie!
Baby's dresser/changing table
It's moving along pretty quickly and starting to look like a dresser. Here's a picture from the front. The top is not actually attached and the bottom piece is missing to. The drawers are already made, they just need hardware and the bottom piece attach. Now we just need to find a crib so we can stain the dresser to match. I'm hoping that will happen next weekend.

Lemongrass it is!
Thanks so much to everyone that voted and helped us pick out a pattern for Baby G's carseat. We hoping to register for everything else and find a crib this weekend...so there might be some more polls to vote on later this week or next. Stay tuned!

Car Seat Decision

Construction has begun!
I'm so excited that Jeremy has started to work on the baby's dresser/changing table. He's building it from white oak wood that we bought from my uncle. It already looks amazing and only the framing is done. I can't wait to see the finished product and have our first family heirloom. Little does Jeremy know, but once he's done with the dresser, I'm kinda hoping for a bookshelf to match....
We can't believe how quickly October is approaching and feel like there is a never ending list of things to get done. The biggest of which is to register for all the stuff. We're hoping to tackle that in the next 2 weeks.
