Hey guys, the basement remodel is finally finished. Here are some before and after pictures. Quite a difference huh? You'll all will have to come and see it in person if you already haven't!

Hey, does anyone remember that ugly thing that the people before us had over in the side the yard. They used it to stack their firewood. Well, we wanted to move it anyways, so we just took it apart, powerwashed the wood, which was amazing. We've been looking for a cheap patio set, but couldn't find one that we wanted to pay for, so we decided to build our own. What could be cheaper than that. Now we have plenty of setting outside and a nice big table to entertain all of you folks that will be coming over to swim in the pool this summer! :)

For New Year's all our friends came over and we grilled, played games, and ate way too much.....again. Joe and Amanda, Brent and Katie, Erin and Adam, and Jeff all came over. The next morning we all went to breakfast at Denny's. Then everyone went home and me and Jeremy took a nap until 5 p.m. Ahh....we felt so much better afterwards. :) Hope you all had a great New Year's too! Happy 2006!
y smoked his first turkey. It was 20 lbs. It turned out great. We can't wait until the summer to smoke some ribs. Mama Gaither brought two huge pans of stuffing and Pa
pa Gaither brought two bowls of chex mix (th
at we are still trying to finish by the way).
Amanda brought a lovely broccoli/rice casserole and Karissa made little appetizer wraps. Mama Herndon brought corn and tried to cook it like my Grandma Herndon......did pretty good, I think grandma just must use a ton of butter or something. Anyways. All the food was wonderful and hopefully everyone can come to our house again. We like having company....especially when they bring presents. Hehehe. Just kidding.

really excited because he had all these papers and bows to chew on. Some how, he still found Jeremy's Santa hat.
l. Once Amanda put it on him, he wouldn't move, not even for some people food.
