New Tricks!

Ty is growing and eating and moving more every day! He's getting really good at sitting up by himself for sometimes 30 minutes at a time without falling over. He has also started to push up on his hands and knees and I was lucky enough to catch it with the camera. One of these days he's just going to take off and crawl. He can already roll anywhere he wants and is good and getting to the toy he wants.Enjoy the slideshow below with pictures of him "crawling" and sitting up while waiting for daddy to give him a bath.

We're traveling to Columbia this weekend to visit with Karissa and her boyfriend Morgan, who will be in town from California. Next weekend, we're traveling to Springfield to celebrate Easter with Jeremy's parents and see his dad who's been in China for the last month. Hopefully all the travels go well and we remember to pack everything we need, which is alot more now that he eats so much solid food. Look for more pictures to come after all our travels.

One more update: Jeremy refinished the garage. It was just bare drywall and no storage. He primed and painted the entire garage, including the ceiling and built tons of storage around the ceiling. It's amazing how much cleaner and bigger the garage looks with white walls and stuff up off the floor. We're really happy with the way it turned out.

Updates

We've been busy at our house. Tyler is learning how to sit on his own and trying new foods every week. So far he's had sweet potatoes (yum), rice cereal (ok), peaches (yum), green beans (yuck), and squash (yum). Jeremy is even trying his hand at making our own baby food and has tried sweet potatoes so far and Ty still eats them. :)

This is his new trick he does everytime we change his diaper. Notice how he wait until the diaper is off before performing his "trick."

We also sold our screen enclosure today. For those of you who don't know or forgot, it was on top of our rotting deck so when we needed to replace the deck we decided to just build a nice big patio and a smaller deck, therefore there was no room for the screen enclosure that was like new. We are super excited to have it out of our garage and now Jeremy is planning a big garage makeover complete with tons of storage close to the ceiling. Updates on that to come later.
