Lots of Updates!

Well the deck is completed, just awaiting the inspection now. We've already enjoyed sitting on our new deck and Toby really likes being about to go out the bedroom door now. Isn't it pretty?
Here's some pictures of the progress. A big thanks to Jeremiah for helping so many days!

We aren't really going to talk about the mizzou game, but here's a good photo of us before the nightmare started. We tailgated and sat with Adam and Erin. Thanks for letting us sit with you guys instead of the hill!
We also went to the pumpkin festival and bought the biggest pumpkin we've ever bought there. I love the pumpkin festival.
We had quite a busy weekend, I almost forgot about the shooting dad and Jeremy did on Sunday right before we left. Dad's going pheasant hunting this week and needed to practice with his shotguns. So off to the lake we went for some target practice.
We have friends coming to visit this weekend. They are in town for a wedding on Friday, but we are looking forward to hanging out with them on Saturday and watching the Mizzou game together. Go Tigers!

I'm back

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted, or this year is just going way to fast. We almost finished with the deck, I know I've been saying that all summer, but we really are now! We have 3 mores sections of railing to put up and then we're done! It looks really nice, I can't wait post a final picture so you all can see it.

We just divided our small group into 2 different groups so I'm curious to see how all that will work out. I hope it's okay.

We're going to Columbia this weekend to attend the Pumpkin Festival (a family tradition we started when we were dating). We were so sad that we didn't go last year and didn't even get a pumpkin. After we spend a couple hours there we're heading to the MU football game to watch them take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Should be a good romping!

Karissa's traveling alot in Africa, she's already been to at least 10 cities probably. We finally got her postcard the other day, at least 2 weeks after she sent it. We talk at least once a week and it's good to hear from her. This week she's in Salima and staying with a family that lives there. She wasn't sure what that would be like, so it should be interesting to hear from her.

Well I can't think of anything else new right now, but I hope to have holiday plans figured out soon so I don't have to worry about that stuff. Till next time......
