So, for about a week now Tyler learned that he can climb out of his crib – so naptime and bedtime have been hard for momma and daddy. After doing some research and talking with friends, I chose the supernanny approach, which is to just keep putting them back in bed, no eye contact and no talking. So far, it has surprisingly worked! The first day I wanted to pull my hair out. It took 2 hours of him climbing out and me putting him back before he finally fell asleep. I was at my wits end! Bedtime went a little better and it only took 1 hour. Monday it took almost an hour and half of putting him back for naptime and today….drumroll please….only took 20 minutes! Maybe this really did work!? I’m looking for activities to do in the morning to wear him out to help him fall asleep too. I am just so amazed right now that I only had to put him back 5 times today. Cross your fingers for bedtime!
