Karissa's coming home!!!!

One week. Exactly 168 hours. 10080 minutes.

That's how long until Karissa comes home! If you can't tell, I'm a little excited.

You can go check out what she did while she was in Malawi and see the amazing pictures she took while she was there. Go to karissaherndon.shutterfly.com. Password: Karissa

Here we are, right before she left.

2009 updates

I'm really bad at updating this thing. We had a great Christmas and New Year's. Went to visit Jeremy's sister and her family in Florida. Played alot of Wii and had some great food, with Sonny's at the highlight. We got to go to the beach two days and to a river beach, which is different, but fun all the same.

Now we're finally starting hopefully one of the last projects on our house. We're installing window trim and casing around all the windows. We got one window done this weekend, and the rest shouldn't take as long since we know what we're doing now. It looks great and as soon as it's painted, I'll post some pictures.

Jeremy's been super busy playing in the band at church, another bass player quit the band, so he has to play even more weekends now.

My mom is in Africa with a mission trip team from Woodcrest. Of course, she is also with Karissa now, I am so jealous! But I do get to pick Karissa up from the airport February 2nd and am very excited for that day!

Well, can't think of anything else going on, my goal for the new year is to update our blog once a week. Obviously I didn't start out to well, but I just came up with the goal, so it starts now. Haha.

Until next time.....

WANTED! Click image to enlarge and help us find the flamingo killers!

Christmas in Houston, MO

This past weekend we travelled to Houston, MO to celebrate Christmas with my cousins and grandparents. We had a lot of fun and there was alot of laughs.
This year we had a white elephant gift exchange. It was hilarious. My Aunt Nancy tricked Jeremy into picking her present only to find that it was the ugliest pair of lime green heels with a flower on top.I got a brick......which Jeremy's going to make into a Bricandle. (a brick-candle). He's working on the patent now. :)
My great grandma got a stocking cap and had to model it for everyone. She's styling now.

Me and my pops.
Mom, Ted and me.
Grandpa Herndon playing us a song he wrote for his high school reunion. It was very good!
Grandma Herndon and me.

Myla's One!

This actually happened last weekend, her birthday is 12-12. Our small group leader's daughter, Myla is already one! The year just flew by. Just wanted to post some of the good pictures I got. Happy Birthday Myla!
