Wow, it's been a long time since I posted, or this year is just going way to fast. We almost finished with the deck, I know I've been saying that all summer, but we really are now! We have 3 mores sections of railing to put up and then we're done! It looks really nice, I can't wait post a final picture so you all can see it.
We just divided our small group into 2 different groups so I'm curious to see how all that will work out. I hope it's okay.
We're going to Columbia this weekend to attend the Pumpkin Festival (a family tradition we started when we were dating). We were so sad that we didn't go last year and didn't even get a pumpkin. After we spend a couple hours there we're heading to the MU football game to watch them take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Should be a good romping!
Karissa's traveling alot in Africa, she's already been to at least 10 cities probably. We finally got her postcard the other day, at least 2 weeks after she sent it. We talk at least once a week and it's good to hear from her. This week she's in Salima and staying with a family that lives there. She wasn't sure what that would be like, so it should be interesting to hear from her.
Well I can't think of anything else new right now, but I hope to have holiday plans figured out soon so I don't have to worry about that stuff. Till next time......

Springfield here we come
We're finally headed back to Springfield to visit with Jeremy's parents. We haven't been there since New Year's and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend. We also get to meet the Pedigo's new baby boy. Here's a picture. Isn't he the cutest!

She's off!
Well, Karissa left for Africa last Friday. We took her to the airport at 4:30 AM! She flew from STL to Chicago to NY to Johannsburg, South Africa to Malawi. All her flights went smoothly, but she's still missing her largest bag. We finally just found out that it left NY two days later than she did, but it's still not showing up on South African Airways system, so hopefully it will soon and she'll have her clothes back. She said she's been borrowing from the family she's living with.
She also has a blog that she's hoping to update with pictures and details about her time there. If you want access to that, email me. I would post pictures from the airport the day she left, but we used her camera, so we haven't seen them yet either.

M-I-Z!!!!!!!!!
Our good friends Adam and Erin Toth got us tickets to the Arch Rivalry game between Mizzou and il over the Labor Day weekend. The game was here in STL at the Edward Jones Dome. It was awesome! Our seats were pretty high in the il endzone, but it was really cool to see the plays take shape from way up there. Oh yeah, and we killed them. We're looking forward to a great season! Go Tigers!

Hermann Getaway
Well, we've been pretty busy since I last posted. We took my sister to a cute little bed and breakfast in Hermann, MO as her last getaway before leaving to live in AFRICA, yes I said AFRICA for 6 months. Here's some pictures from our trip.
On a wine tour.
Jeremy crawling out of the wine barrell after cleaning it. Haha.
Playing cards at the B&B.
Re-enacting how early settlers would've traveled on the Mighty Mo!
