Cruise!

So the cruise was amazing. We would definitely do it again. We went to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. The weather was perfect.

Snorkeling in Cozumel. The water was so blue and clear. We saw lots of different fish. I think I could've snorkeled another couple hours.
Look! It's a Mizzou fish.

Here's the crew. Nice formal shot huh?
Hopefully I'll get around to posting some more photos soon.

Happy Birthday!

It's my birthday this week...on Thursday. Yes, I was born on Valentine's day. a curse? I thought so until I met my valentine. He always makes each year so special and treats me like a princess every day the week of my birthday. We don't like fussing with reservations and fancy restaurants, especially on Valentine's Day so we've started a new tradition of going to Qdoba and Cold Stone Creamery (which happen to be right next to each other) for my birthday/valentine's day and then renting a movie for a night of cuddling on the couch. I know it's not even my birthday yet, but I already got my presents from him. A Sony laptop (which i love!) and a new cell phone. I was in desperate need of a new one. My current phone is 4 years old. So, while I'm celebrating my birthday, I hope you all have a good Valentine's Day. Until next time.

It's freezing

Okay, so it was 71 degrees yesterday and today it's 20 and we're expecting at least 6 inches of snow tomorrow! Welcome to Missouri! We are definitely ready to go on our cruise. We leave February 24 for a 7 day cruise. We are first time cruisers but are going with long-time veterans. Should be fun. We're porting at Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. We can't wait to be on the beach!

Chicago

We went to Chicago between Christmas and New Year's and had a blast! We took Amtrak up there and our hotel was 3 blocks away from Michigan Ave. We went to the aquarium, planetarium, Field Museum, the Museum of Science and Industry (our favorite) and the Hancock Observatory.
The views from the Hancock were amazing!

This is the U-505 that we captured from the German in WWII. This was my favorite exhibit!

Christmas Everywhere

Christmas was busy this year, we went to Houston, MO then to Columbia, then home, then off to Chicago for 4 days (more about that later), and then down to Springfield.
Now this is the way to sled. All fun and no work!
