Howdy Ya'll

What's up everybody? We've been really busy. We've put up recessed lighting in the basement and removed all the carpet tiles. We have bought the tile that we like and so we have 750 sq ft of tile sitting in the garage. We are not looking forward to carrying it all to the basement. Once we have the basement tiled (which will take awhile) I don't think we have too many other big house improvements to work on. We've also painted the deck, two coats and all, we had to work around all the rain and bad weather men. One day they said it was supposed to be clear and sunny for 3 days, so we painted on the first day and that night it rained. Another time it was supposed to rain for three days and of course it was clear. Anyways. We've been having alot of fun playing in the pool. I'll try to get some pictures up of our newly painted deck and pool and you all have to come jump in sometime this summer.

Well, we are leaving for Florida with Jeremy's parents tomorrow to go to Lynn's graduation from residency. We're excited, we got a hotel right on the beach in St. Petersburg. Toby is staying with mom and dad this week while we are gone and I can't wait to see him again next week. Well, that's all for now. Later.

The pool is open!

The pool is open and ready for swimmers. :) Doesn't it look pretty? And no need to worry about chlorine, we got chlorine free chemicals for the pool. No more itchy dry skin. Anyone is welcome to come jump in, but looking at the temperature of the water, you may want to wait. The water temp is only about 54 degrees.

Jeremy-master carpenter

Hey, does anyone remember that ugly thing that the people before us had over in the side the yard. They used it to stack their firewood. Well, we wanted to move it anyways, so we just took it apart, powerwashed the wood, which was amazing. We've been looking for a cheap patio set, but couldn't find one that we wanted to pay for, so we decided to build our own. What could be cheaper than that. Now we have plenty of setting outside and a nice big table to entertain all of you folks that will be coming over to swim in the pool this summer! :)

Look, we pulled a Rocky!

So, Rocky let us borrow the power washer to clean the deck, well, we also cleaned some boards that we made the table and benches out of, we cleaned them on the concrete patio in the backyard. And so we ended up with really clean parts of the concrete and really dirty parts. Now, we call this a Rocky because he did this to his drive way, but he has little squiggly lines on his driveway that looks like a little kid was playing with chalk. :)
