Merry Christmas Toby

Toby loved Christmas. He got to play with Graham and Mace and had so much fun. And then when everyone opened presents he got really excited because he had all these papers and bows to chew on. Some how, he still found Jeremy's Santa hat.

Here's Graham and Mace in their cute little Christmas sweaters that Mama Gaither got for them. Graham doesn't like his at all. Once Amanda put it on him, he wouldn't move, not even for some people food.

And lastly, here is Tinker, before everyone came. After, she could be found under our bed. When she ventured out of the bedroom she got chased by Mace and Graham, so she didn't come out all day, actually she didn't come out for quite a few hours after everyone had left, and she walked into the living room very very slowly.

Friends Forever

Here's Toby and Tinker sleeping together.....or rather, Tinker sleeping and we placed Toby down beside her and took a picture really fast. :) We have decided that they actually do like each other because we have caught them sleeping on the same pillow before, but when we walk into the room, Tinker wakes up and acts like she doesn't like him.

All about Toby

Here is our baby boy Toby. Isn't he cute? He is a very good boy and hasn't gone potty in his kennel at all. Today is the test though since we had to go to work. He is very playful and scares Tinker. She is very curious and not sure what to think of Toby. We went and got her a catnip toy yesterday so she wouldn't be so mad at us. Toby follows anything that moves, so most of the time he doesn't even see the kitty.

His favorite place to sit right now is on someone's shoulder. He is almost 6 weeks old, so he is really young.

We went to the Gaither's for Thanksgiving and this is our nephew Caedman playing with the puppy. The puppy would just chase Caedman around where ever he went.

On our way back from Springfield we stopped by our friend's house who just bought a house too. Their daughter Casey was so excited about the puppy that she was shaking. We finally got her calmed down and the puppy fell asleep in her lap, over the watchful eye of her mom, Shannon.

Our baby puppy

I'm sure many of you have heard by now that we are getting a shih tzu puppy right before Thanksgiving. These are pictures of him when he was about 2 weeks old I think. I'm sure there will be many more pictures of him on this site once we get him. If anyone has any name ideas, let us know. We are very excited and can't wait to go get him.

Good as new

Well, we thought our front porch looked a little empty....so, we went a garage saling, got lucky and found a front porch bench/glider. To the right is the before and after pictures. We spray painted the metal parts black and painted the wood deep terra cotta. It doesn't even look like the same bench. We are still waiting for the paint to fully dry so the blue you see is painter's tape we put on to keep the metal parts from getting orange paint on. It's good as new!
